Pressed

The aesthetic properties of the pressed grating (available in galvanized steel or stainless steel), make it particularly suitable for civil uses with a low load capacity. It consists of bearing bars and cross bars embedded between these by means of a powerful pressing process. The bearing bar slots are performed via high-precision production lines and the cross beams – instead of being pressed – assume a permanent deformation.

Types of standard pressed gratings

  • Standard

The pressed grating with flat cross bars ensures a stable grating, whilst also increasing the load capacity and ensuring good operating performance, in addition to providing a high aesthetic value.

  • Serrated

The serrated pressed grating is mainly used in areas where there is a risk of slipping.

  • Extra-Serrated

The extra-serrated pressed grating is created by using laminate or sheared bearing bars and cross bars with a surface consisting of suitably-shaped teeth. This particular combination has been designed to meet the accident prevention regulations, where a particular non-slip function is required. Recommended for any environments where liquids or oily substances are used.

  • Heel-proof

The term “heel-proof” has no regulatory reference but is commonly used to define a grating that has bearing bars or cross bars with a centre-to-centre distance of 11 mm or less. It is usually used in the civil sector, wherever there is a high pedestrian footfall.

Advantages

  • Aesthetics: an aesthetically-pleasing line.
  • Functionality: a large number of civil architecture applications.
  • Wide range of mesh: can be made to order.

Tank Patented Grating Clamp

1. Traction screw   2. M-shaped clamp   3. Patented grating clamp   4. Standard lock nut  5. Special lock nut

Thanks to its special shape, this fixing system ensures the stability of the grating panels, even when subject to high levels of stress.

The special shaping allows the traction screw to be inserted perpendicularly to the electro-welded grating panel, even when in unachievable positions.

Shaping

Each building and every situation has different shapes and needs. It is for this reason that Baldassar has established a specialised technical department to be able to create products with special shapes and patterns. Thanks to the shaping process, each grating element can have the most suitable contour for an easier insertion and installation, with minimum waste material.

Banding

As a result of the banding process, the grating panel can have various standard finishes or be designed according to the customer’s design, such as with round, bevelled, square or shaped bands. This deformation process is fully designed and performed inside the Baldassar premises.

Calendering

Thanks to the cutting-edge equipment, our technical department is able to deform the metal profiles according to specific designs, by giving it a circular curvature. The process is carried out in-house; therefore, there is no need to wait for third-parties to be carry out this process.

+ Description

+ Characteristics

  • Aesthetics: an aesthetically-pleasing line.
  • Functionality: a large number of civil architecture applications.
  • Wide range of mesh: can be made to order.

+ Accessories

Tank Patented Grating Clamp

1. Traction screw   2. M-shaped clamp   3. Patented grating clamp   4. Standard lock nut  5. Special lock nut

Thanks to its special shape, this fixing system ensures the stability of the grating panels, even when subject to high levels of stress.

The special shaping allows the traction screw to be inserted perpendicularly to the electro-welded grating panel, even when in unachievable positions.

Standard Grating Clamp

Galvanised grating clamp for 11-15 mm mesh

Galvanised grating clamp for 21-25 mm mesh

Galvanised grating clamp for 30-34 mm mesh

Galvanised double grating clamp for 11-15 mm mesh

Galvanised double grating clamp for 21-25 mm mesh

Galvanised double grating clamp for 30-34 mm mesh

Corner Bars
